Key Responsibilities
- Manage and advise on a variety of corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity investments, and corporate disposals.
- Draft and review shareholder agreements, family investment company structures, and employee share schemes.
- Support clients with non-transactional corporate matters, providing practical and commercially astute advice.
- Collaborate on complex, multi-million-pound deals with other team members and departments.
- Engage in business development and networking activities to strengthen client relationships and grow your personal profile.
- Uphold the highest professional and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and the firm’s procedures.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 4–8 years PQE in corporate law, with solid experience in handling transactional matters.
- A strong understanding of mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and related corporate finance work.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to deliver commercially focused solutions.
- A proactive approach to business development and a keen interest in building your own network of clients and referrers.
- A team-oriented mindset, coupled with the ability to work independently on your own caseload.
