The opportunity

Our client is a well-established and growing law firm in the North West, currently looking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor (NQ–4 years PQE) to join its expanding corporate team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded lawyer to develop their career within a supportive and forward thinking environment.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality corporate matters, working closely with experienced lawyers on transactions for a diverse client base.

With strong partner support and clear development pathways, this role offers early responsibility and genuine scope for progression

Key responsibilities

  • Advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters
  • Drafting and negotiating transactional documentation, including sale and purchase agreements
  • Assisting with due diligence processes and coordinating data rooms
  • Supporting work on shareholder agreements, joint ventures, investments and restructures
  • Advising on corporate governance and regulatory compliance
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development initiatives, including networking and client events

About you

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ–4 years PQE) with experience in corporate law
  • Exposure to corporate transactions such as share/asset sales, reorganisations, buybacks, share schemes and EOTs (ideally gained within a reputable regional or city practice)
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively within a collaborative team
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Comfortable engaging in networking and business development activity
