The Opportunity
A leading UK law firm’s highly regarded Real Estate team is continuing to grow and is looking to recruit Senior Associates to Partner level into its Leeds and Manchester offices.
This is an opportunity to join a top-tier, nationally recognised real estate practice, acting on some of the most high-profile and complex transactions in the market. The team advises a broad client base including institutional investors, developers, banks, corporates and public sector bodies on significant projects across the UK and internationally.
With a strong presence across the North, the team is heavily involved in major development, regeneration and investment work, offering exposure to market-leading deals and long-term client relationships.
The Team
The Real Estate group is widely recognised for its strength and depth:
Advising on high-value acquisitions, disposals and development schemes across multiple sectors
Acting for a blue-chip client base on complex and strategic real estate matters
Delivering commercial, pragmatic advice on fast-paced and high-profile transactions
Supporting clients across the full lifecycle – from acquisition and planning to funding, development and asset management
The Leeds and Manchester teams are particularly well-known for their work in urban regeneration, infrastructure, retail, logistics and large-scale investment projects.
The Role
As a senior lawyer, you will:
Take a lead role on complex commercial real estate transactions
Advise on development and regeneration projects, often involving multi-disciplinary teams
Work closely with investors, developers and corporate occupiers
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Support and mentor junior team members
You will have the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-value matters with a high degree of responsibility and visibility.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
Are UK-qualified Solicitors with solid real estate experience (typically 5+ PQE)
Have experience of commercial property, investment and/or development work
Demonstrate a commercial, solutions-focused approach
Are confident in client-facing roles and business development
Enjoy working in a collaborative and high-performing environment
Experience in sectors such as build-to-rent, logistics, infrastructure or regeneration would be advantageous.
