Corporate Solicitor (4yrs+ PQE) – Manchester A highly regarded commercial law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Solicitor to join its collaborative and forward thinking corporate team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high quality transactions while contributing to the development of a supportive, growth oriented environment. Role Overview The successful candidate will play a key role across a variety of corporate matters, taking responsibility for driving larger transactions, running smaller deals independently and supporting on non‑transactional corporate advisory work. The position encourages the development of deeper technical expertise, commercial understanding and the opportunity to support junior team members as part of a cohesive and ambitious team. Key Responsibilities ➤ Lead and support on corporate transactions including M&A, restructuring, investments, and joint ventures. ➤ Draft, review and negotiate shareholder agreements, LLP/partnership agreements and general corporate governance documentation. ➤ Provide pragmatic, commercially aligned advice to a varied client base. ➤ Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support cross‑departmental client needs. ➤ Supervise, mentor and help develop junior members of the team. ➤ Build strong internal and external relationships to support both team and firmwide growth. About You ➤ A qualified Solicitor with 4 years+ experience in corporate law. ➤ A strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels. ➤ Keen to grow technical expertise and commercial acumen. ➤ Interested in mentoring and developing junior colleagues. ➤ Proactive in building long‑term client relationships and delivering high‑quality service. ➤ Motivated, organised and able to manage a varied and fast‑paced workload. The Team The Corporate team advises on all aspects of corporate transactional work, including M&A, restructures, investments, JV and shareholder arrangements, LLP/partnership agreements, company advisory matters, and some AIM/PLC instructions.
