This leading offshore law firm has an opening for a senior corporate or funds lawyer to join its fast-growing team in Jersey. This opportunity offers the scope to establish yourself as a market leader, playing a key role in both client and matter management.
Joining as a Senior Associate or Counsel, you will be expected to run your own transactions (with support from Partners as appropriate) and will be integral to the firms business development efforts. You will also be expected to help in supervising and developing more junior colleagues.
This could be ideal for an ambitious onshore lawyer who wishes to remain at the sharp end of the international legal market, but who is seeking a more personal working environment and a more relaxed lifestyle outside of the office. Equally, it would be perfect for someone who is already practising offshore and is looking for a great opportunity to take a big step forward in their career.

The Channel Islands
For a city-based lawyer who thrives on big-ticket work but craves an escape from the rat race, few places compete with the Channel Islands, home to two of the world’s premier offshore financial centres. Jersey and Guernsey have strong and highly competitive legal sectors, housing teams that number many alumni of the leading London or international outfits amongst their ranks. They do complex blue-chip work, in a nice environment without the trappings of a big law firm culture. Work-life balance tends to be good, leaving plenty of time to enjoy what is an enviable coastal lifestyle and London is only an hour away making it easy to get that city fix when (or if) you need it.
