An ambitious, forward-thinking law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Private Client team in Sheffield. This is a key hire for a growing department, offering the opportunity to work on high-value, complex matters while playing a visible role in team development and strategic growth.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of a varied and sophisticated caseload spanning:
- Complex estate administration (including high-value estates)
- Wills drafting and estate planning
- Inheritance tax and lifetime planning
- Trust creation and administration
- Advising on wealth protection, including risks relating to death, divorce, and bankruptcy
Alongside your own caseload, you will support and mentor junior team members, contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing files from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision
- Delivering clear, pragmatic advice to a diverse client base
- Building long-term client and professional relationships
- Providing technical supervision and guidance to junior colleagues
- Contributing to business development and client engagement initiatives
- Playing an active role in team planning and performance
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with strong Private Client experience
- Proven ability to handle complex matters independently
- Excellent communication skills, with a client-first mindset
- A proactive, commercially aware approach
- Experience supporting or supervising junior team members
- Strong networking and relationship-building ability
