I am working with a leading international law firm with a US-headquartered global platform, who are looking to hire a mid-level Employment Associate (c.3–6 PQE) into its growing London team.
The firm has built a substantial international presence with offices across the US, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia, advising multinational corporates, financial institutions, private equity sponsors and high-growth businesses. The London office has grown steadily in recent years and now plays an important role in the firm’s international practice.
This is an opportunity to join a growing and well-regarded employment practice that works closely with the firm’s corporate, disputes and private equity teams on sophisticated international mandates.

- Employment issues arising from corporate transactions, restructurings and business transfers
- Employment tribunal litigation and dispute resolution
- Senior executive appointments, exits and restrictive covenant matters
- Workplace investigations, disciplinary processes and grievances
- Cross-border employment issues for multinational clients
The team regularly advises on complex, high-value and cross-border mandates, often supporting corporate and private equity teams on the employment aspects of international transactions and strategic projects.
The Firm:
The London office forms part of a large global firm with several thousand lawyers worldwide, offering a genuinely international client base and regular cross-office collaboration.
Despite its global scale, the London platform maintains a lean and entrepreneurial environment, allowing associates to benefit from:
- Direct partner access and meaningful responsibility
- Early client exposure
- Close integration with colleagues across international offices
The firm is widely recognised for its collaborative culture and strong lateral growth strategy, which has driven the expansion of its London practice and created excellent long-term career prospects for ambitious associates.
What’s on Offer:
- Highly competitive remuneration aligned with leading international firms in London
- Attractive performance-based bonus structure
- Exposure to premium international clients and complex cross-border work
- A growing London office with strong investment and long-term strategic focus
- Clear progression opportunities within a globally recognised platform
Candidate Requirements:
- Approximately 3–6 years’ PQE in employment law
- Experience gained at a City, international or leading national firm
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Experience advising employer clients on both advisory and transactional employment matters
