The firm has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Partner to join its national Real Estate division, working within a highly regarded housebuilder sector team.
The Real Estate practice is recognised as a market leader, with one of the largest national teams of its kind in the UK. The firm’s Real Estate teams are consistently ranked highly in Chambers and Legal 500, with deep sector expertise across the full spectrum of commercial property matters.
This role presents an opportunity for an ambitious partner to undertake a broad range of high‑quality commercial property housebuilder work, supported by a well‑established, multi‑disciplinary national platform.
The Team and Practice
- A nationally integrated, multi‑office housebuilder sector, incorporating all legal disciplines required to deliver residential developments
- Expertise spanning:
- Strategic land buying
- Planning and construction
- Site set‑up and infrastructure
- Plot sales and residential conveyancing
- Recognised as a leading legal adviser to the residential development sector, acting for a number of the UK’s largest housebuilder organisations
- Specialist development lawyers located throughout England, enabling seamless client service and national coverage
- A dedicated SME housebuilder offering, providing tailored legal support to smaller developers and landowners and allowing the team to anticipate and respond to sector‑specific challenges
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and deliver complex commercial property and residential development matters
- Advise national and regional housebuilders, developers and landowners on a wide range of development‑related issues
- Play a key role in the continued growth and strategic direction of the housebuilder practice
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines and offices to provide a fully integrated service
- Take an active role in client relationship management and business development
