So here we are a year into the Covid 19 pandemic. If we had known at the start that we would have to endure such challenging restrictions and trading turbulence for over 12 months we may have just waved the white flag. It was difficult to imagine how our business could survive in the face of the inevitable onslaught of cost cutting and streamlining. The Job Retention Scheme was a life-saver but as our workflow slowed the real game changer for us was the incredible versatility and agility shown by our law firm clients who managed the switch to working from home almost seamlessly. Law firms reported that the demand for lawyers expertise and advice remained healthy other than logistical issues caused by the restrictions in movement. Throughout this period our consultants have continued to source roles for their candidates and meet our law firm client's recruitment needs. Following a downturn in instructions last spring we now find that demand has never been higher.

In the last week of February, our consultants brokered offers for their candidates worth £1.042 million in salaries in roles from NQ solicitor to Partner and still we can’t meet all our client's needs.

If you have been contemplating a move up the career ladder or have found your restrictions, in terms of geography, have been lifted please call us - +44 (0)1206 233500
