I’m working with a progressive and expanding law firm in the Thames Valley that’s looking to recruit a Senior Associate Commercial Property Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE. This is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial property lawyer to take on a varied caseload, work closely with supportive partners, and play a visible role in client development and team growth.
The firm has a strong reputation for real estate work and is particularly active across the Thames Valley and wider South East region. The role will suit someone looking to step into more autonomy while continuing to develop within a collaborative and well-structured team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a wide-ranging caseload of commercial property matters
- Acting on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Advising on and drafting leases, renewals, and related documents (licences to assign, underlet, or alter)
- Supporting landlords and occupiers on portfolio management
- Advising on property finance and secured lending
- Providing property support on corporate transactions and business sales
- Identifying risk and delivering commercially minded, pragmatic solutions
- Contributing to business development and building relationships with commercial clients and referrers
What they’re looking for:
- A qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE in commercial property
- Able to run a full caseload independently, while also collaborating with partners and the wider team
- Strong drafting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Commercial approach with the ability to assess and manage risk
- Confident communicator with a proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships
- Someone who enjoys being visible in the business community and supporting BD initiatives
