The Opportunity
An established, award-winning national law firm is looking to appoint a Pensions Solicitor (1–5 PQE) to join its highly regarded Employment, Pensions & Immigration team.
This leading team advises employers across the UK, including many of the country’s most recognisable organisations, on all aspects of pensions law. The team is known for its strong client relationships, technical excellence and commercially focused approach.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level solicitor to develop their expertise within a supportive, forward-thinking and growing practice.
The Role
The successful candidate will support senior lawyers while managing their own diverse caseload of pensions matters, alongside contributing to wider business development initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a mixed caseload of pensions work
- Advising on private and public sector pension schemes
- Supporting on advisory, transactional and documentation matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting with business development activities, including events and client engagement
- Contributing to innovation and internal product development
- Working in line with client service level agreements and firm values
The Candidate
The firm is seeking candidates who demonstrate a genuine interest in pensions law and a strong technical foundation.
Applicants should have:
- Qualified Solicitor status with 1–5 years’ PQE in pensions law
- Experience across advisory, transactional and documentation work
- Strong technical ability and clear, confident communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive and commercial approach to client work
