We are seeking a talented Associate Solicitor (2–5 years PQE) to join highly regarded Regional Dispute Resolution Group, based in Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious solicitor to work within a thriving team, handling a broad range of high-quality disputes.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
- Manage a varied caseload of professional negligence and commercial dispute resolution matters, which may include:
- Banking and finance litigation
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Negligence claims
- Shareholder disputes
- Defamation
- Judicial review
- Contentious insolvency
- Take responsibility—under supervision—for their own files and fee targets, while also providing assistance to other team members when required.
- Work proactively to meet departmental targets, including billing, matter-related time recording, and fees, as set by the Head of Department.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 2–5 years post-qualification experience in dispute resolution (or a closely related area).
- Demonstrates strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and sound judgement.
- Communicates clearly and professionally, with excellent client-care skills.
- Thrives within a busy team environment and is committed to high standards of service.
