The Role
An exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join a successful and growing team in Essex. You will handle a broad caseload of commercial property work, build client relationships, and play an active role in business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord/tenant matters

  • Managing a varied caseload from start to finish

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, agreements and leases.

  • Acting for lenders and borrowers on property finance transactions

  • Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent service

  • Supporting junior team members and sharing technical knowledge

  • Engaging in business development and networking

The Candidate

  • Solicitor with 2+ PQE

  • Strong drafting, negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent client care and communication abilities

  • Commercially aware and able to spot opportunities for clients

  • Proactive, motivated, and able to work independently

  • Team player keen to contribute to the department’s growth

  • Business development experience is desirable
