Legal recruiter Alex, joined the team at Origin Legal during the Covid pandemic to help meet the surge in new roles as the legal profession adapted to new working models. He has a highly professional approach to his work and is passionate about providing successful and timely results.
An Essex man from the city of Chelmsford, Alex moved to Kent as an undergraduate to study a Business Management degree at Canterbury Christchurch University. On graduating he entered the recruitment industry taking a role in a company in London where he specialised in the Facilities Management and Engineering sector handling assignments at management to Director level. This was a highly specialised role operating nationally for major FM companies. Having commuted for almost 2 years, Alex moved to a specialist Legal Insurance company. He further developed his skills in account management and high volume client and contact portfolios dealing with insurers and solicitors.
At Origin Alex is working with the Regional Recruitment teams handling a broad range of assignments from recently qualified to Partner level appointments with a particular eye on Insurance based roles.
Alex is a massive football fan and follows Sunderland which by his own admission has been difficult at times. He travelled to Portugal for Euro 2016 and watched England get knocked out by Iceland. Spare time is spent socialising with friends and family and home building on the Walton-on-the-Naze coast.
