The Role
The firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Partner Designate to join its Wills & Inheritance team in Berkshire.

You will manage your own caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax Planning, and elderly client work. Alongside handling your own matters, you will play a leading role within the team – supporting colleagues, contributing to strategic growth, and engaging in business development to strengthen the department’s profile across Berkshire and the wider South East.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters.
• Advising on Wills, LPAs, tax planning, trusts, and elderly client issues.
• Leading and mentoring junior members of the team.
• Building strong client relationships and providing a first-class service.
• Driving business development and networking initiatives to grow the team’s presence in Berkshire.

The Candidate

• A qualified Solicitor with at least 6+ years PQE, ideally 10+.
• Strong technical expertise in Wills, inheritance, and broader private client work.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and supervise team members.
• Commercially minded, with strong business development and networking skills.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
