Following the cancellation of the Copford teams, Essex Way 82 mile walk, due to Covid, the team have hatched a new plan. During Lockdown over the next 28 days, Jason Nottage along with a few friends will be aiming to walk 1,000 miles for a little girl who has recently moved to Copford Essex. That little girl is three-year-old Grace, who was born the 17th child in the world diagnosed with a condition dubbed ‘RHOBTB2’. She experiences uncontrollable muscle spasms and cramps. She can’t walk, she can’t talk but she CAN respond, she CAN smile, and she CAN melt your heart with her eyes.
As Grace grows, her treatment, her home life, and the lives of her parents will need to grow and adapt with her. So the team is raising money to help support her family in getting what she needs. Please donate what you can to the below link.
The team is walking alone or in pairs socially distancing during the walks and being completely COVID-19 responsible.
Following week one the team is at 208 miles. We will keep you updated as to the team's progress over Lockdown.
