Legal Jobs in Dubai

Any way you look at it, Dubai is an economic success story. Bereft of the vast natural resources enjoyed by its neighbours, it has established itself as the financial and professional hub of the Middle East and beyond. This is one of the most exciting and dynamic markets in the world for a lawyer, and it offers exposure to high-value, complex and varied legal work in small client-facing teams.

Away from business, Dubai is a global tourist hotspot with all the leisure facilities you could wish for. Life here will not be dull. From Michelin starred celebrity restaurants to some of the world’s best shopping malls (replete with indoor ski-slopes, aquariums and theme parks), it’s a place where luxury comes as standard. Joining a large ex-pat community from all over the world, you won’t find many places where it is easier to settle into a new life.

The short-term market rises and falls but the long-term trend is growth, and this is reflected in the ongoing demand for lawyers across all commercial practice areas, particularly corporate, finance, disputes, construction, employment, IT/IP, energy and projects. Openings exist at all levels for lawyers with Common Law training and credentials in a good firm. Arabic is not usually required.

When it comes to an international move, it pays to work with experts. The international team at Origin Legal has been helping lawyers to relocate their careers to Dubai for over twenty years, providing well-informed advice on everything from your preliminary research through to interview preparation, negotiating an offer and finalising the work permit paperwork. There is every chance we have answers to your questions and if we don’t, we will know where to find them. To explore legal jobs in Dubai, contact Jason or Charlotte at:

Testimonials

Associate, Guernsey

"Whilst searching for an NQ role, I came across multiple recruitment consultants who were all too willing to push me in to roles that were not suited to me. Jason took the time to truly understand my requirements, listened to my concerns, and importantly, gave frank and honest advice. He went over and above to help me secure my dream job and I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough." - Associate, Guernsey

Senior Associate

"Jason was one of the most proactive and helpful recruiters I have dealt with. He identified a suitable position in the jurisdiction where I was considering a transfer, which I certainly would have not found on my own. He then made sure that communication with HR was continual and that the recruitment progressed." - Senior Associate, Guernsey

Candidate

"I couldn't recommend Jason highly enough. He has his finger on the pulse of the offshore legal world and is very professional to work with. He is also very responsive and knowledgeable on the practicalities of moving offshore, especially from London. Great to work with."
