Legal Jobs in the Cayman Islands

A move to the Cayman Islands can define your legal career. This is a world-class financial centre in which elite law firms advise international clients on complex high-value legal matters. Smaller teams afford real responsibility and client contact from the outset, and the tax-free salaries are some of the best in the global legal market. It is ideal for an ambitious lawyer seeking to fast-track their career and their earning potential.

Outside of the office it promises all the lifestyle advantages that come as standard in an upscale Caribbean location, from world famous beaches, dive sites or sailing, to relaxed waterfront bars and restaurants in which to enjoy the slower pace of life. Weekends in Miami or Havana offer an exciting change from island life.

Grand Cayman is home to an office of every major offshore law firm in the world and there is consistent demand for lawyers with strong credentials in corporate, banking and finance, investment funds, commercial litigation, insolvency, trusts and commercial property. You will need to be Commonwealth qualified with at least three years’ post-qualification experience by the time you start.

The international team at Origin Legal has been helping lawyers to move to the Cayman Islands since the turn of the century. We have experience of advising on every step of the process from market research and fact finding through to negotiating salaries and making the move. We know what the firms look for. We know who to speak to. We can help you to ensure that your application stands out from the crowd. To find out more about a move offshore or to discuss legal jobs in the Cayman Islands, please get in touch with Jason or Charlotte.

"Whilst searching for an NQ role, I came across multiple recruitment consultants who were all too willing to push me in to roles that were not suited to me. Jason took the time to truly understand my requirements, listened to my concerns, and importantly, gave frank and honest advice. He went over and above to help me secure my dream job and I genuinely cannot recommend him highly enough." - Associate, Guernsey
