We are looking for a talented and experienced Financial Markets Lawyer with 2-5 years PQE to join the growing Dubai office of a leading US law firm. The successful candidate will work on a variety of legal issues related to financial markets, including capital markets, securities law, structured finance, and derivatives. In this role you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to a broad range of clients on financial markets matters, as well as working closely with the team on drafting and reviewing a variety of transactional documents.

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on financial markets transactions
• Conducting due diligence and providing legal opinions on financial markets matters
• Advising clients on regulatory compliance issues and ensuring the company is in compliance with local and federal laws
• Negotiating and finalising financial markets transactions, such as IPOs, bond issuances, and other securities transactions
• Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in financial markets law

Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer with an excellent academic record
• 2-5 years of experience in financial markets law, preferably gained in a leading city/ international law firm
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage
• Knowledge of capital markets, securities law, structured finance, and derivatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
