Corporate Solicitor – Berkshire – NQ

With one of the largest national corporate teams in the UK, our clients national Corporate team advised on 1 in 35 of all corporate transactions in the UK in 2017.

The structure of their highly accomplished national team enables them to offer a partner lead approach on every transaction. Consistently acting as trusted advisers for clients in sectors as diverse as manufacturing and retail, recruitment and education.

The Role

They are now seeking to recruit a talented corporate solicitor NQ+ to join their busy corporate team in their Berkshire office. The successful candidate will offer solid corporate experience (or a strong corporate training seat if a newly qualified solicitor) and will be capable of working alongside our diverse corporate Partners on a broad range of matters including mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and equity capital markets transactions.

The ideal candidate will be keen to develop their skills in this area within a leading national team, interacting effectively with colleagues and clients at every level.

Key Skills & Experience

  • An excellent grounding in corporate transactional work, including a corporate seat during training
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Good negotiation skills
  • An ability and willingness to learn and eagerness to take early responsibility
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Good IT skills
