We are seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer, with at least 3 to 6 years PQE, to join our market leading team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a passion for corporate law and possess excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills. They will be responsible for advising on large scale, complex, cross-border M&A, venture capital, private equity, and investment funds transactions, working closely with clients which include sovereign wealth funds, national and multinational corporations and regional and global funds and family offices.  In this role you will regularly work directly with clients, developing strong relationships and gaining in-depth knowledge of the client’s businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on corporate and commercial matters
• Advising on complex, cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, and investment funds transactions
• Advising on key transaction documents including share sale and purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements and ancillary documentation
• Conducting legal research and staying up to date with the latest developments in corporate law
• Commercially aware with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

Qualifications:

• Qualified Lawyer with excellent academic record
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Corporate Lawyer, preferably gained in a city/ international law firm
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
