Job Description

This well-known offshore law firm goes from strength to strength, and nowhere more so than in its Cayman Islands office. Continued growth in the corporate practice has created an opening for a mid-level associate to take on a role that is first and foremost corporate focused, but which may also see you getting involved in some investment funds and even banking and finance matters. It’s all high-quality and high-value work so there should be no lack of technical stimulation, but you will also find this to be a commercial and progressive outfit that really values lawyers with strong communication skills and an aptitude for building client relationships. You will have every chance to develop your network and progress your career here.

  • UK/Commonwealth admission.
  • 3+ pqe (required for work permit reasons); likely to suit someone in the range of 3-6 years’ pqe.
  • Relevant City/International firm or equivalent corporate experience. Finance or Funds lawyers with an interest in moving into a broader role are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills with the adaptability to take on a diverse practice.

A pre-eminent global financial centre located just an hour from Miami, Grand Cayman offers you a Caribbean lifestyle with no compromise on quality of work, career progression or earning potential. In the office, you will advise international clients on high-value and complex matters, earning a lucrative tax-free salary. After hours, you live in a place that people spend thousands to visit. You can swim with sea turtles, stingrays or starfish, dive some of the world’s most interesting sites, socialise with friends in one of the many beachfront bars or restaurants, or just relax on the pristine sands of Seven Mile Beach. Check out our Cayman Guide for more information.

Expected range of USD140k-US$180k tax-free (equivalent UK gross salary of £180k-£236k) + benefits + relocation.
