Job Description
Banking & Finance Lawyer
This elite international law firm is looking for an experienced banking and finance lawyer to join its prestigious Hong Kong based banking practice. The team advises an impressive range of international and top-tier regional banks and financial institutions on a broad range of lender side finance work. This particular role is likely to focus primarily on banking and leveraged finance, and it promises plenty of client contact and scope for autonomy, making it an interesting option for someone who is looking to develop their skill set and push on in their career.
The expectations are high, and as you would expect in a top tier practice the hours can sometimes be long, but this is a nice ‘grown up’ working environment with plenty of flexibility and a genuine commitment to maintaining a reasonable balance. There is a magic circle level salary with full benefits and bonus potential.
Requirements
- HK/UK/US/Commonwealth qualified, probably around three to six years’ pqe (all levels considered).
- High-quality City/equivalent experience in banking and finance work, ideally including some exposure to leveraged finance (although this is not essential for someone with strong general finance experience)
- Language skills and/or experience in Asia would be an asset but is not a requirement.
Please contact Jason Horobin or Charlotte Hooper to find out more about this role or to discuss an international move in general.
