The Origin Paralegal Team, completed their final training back in September to ensure compliance with the new regulations for Temporary Workers that came into force on October 1st. All temporary workers are now entitled to access all client facilities such as canteen, childcare etc and must be given access to information on all client vacancies in the same way that their permanently employed colleagues are. After 12 weeks in the same job with the same hirer temporary workers are additionally entitled to equal treatment to permanent employeees, in the same or comparable role, in terms of pay and other basic working conditions.
