James has over 18 years experience in placing qualified Solicitors from Newly Qualified to Partner level and Legal Executives, both in-house and in private practice.
A business graduate with a strong client-facing background. James withdrew from the stress of the City trading floors in 1999 and entered the legal recruitment industry. His approach is friendly, personalised & transparent, with a view to building long term relationships. As one of the founding members, he joined Origin in April 2005 having spent the previous five years with another national legal recruitment practice. He brought to the team a wealth of knowledge of the legal market in the south of the country and primarily focuses on Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire and Avon but also handles London based requirements for his national and regional heavyweight clients.
When away from the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and pursuing his passions of DIY, cooking, football, surfing, skiing and anything outdoors.
