Ideally you will have had exposure to Industrial disease claims including asbestos related work and be comfortable operating at the top end of the niche area. IP/IP LITIGATION - ASSOCIATE/PARTNER - THAMES VALLEY - REF: OL/JRW6003The firm have attracted a great deal of attention over the last decade and they are now reaping the benefits of a superb management strategy. The firm is a leading and well respected Commercial law firm named throughout the Legal 500 and Chambers guides. The group’s IP work covers a wide spectrum of largely non-contentious work. This role will focus on contentious IP related matters, but will extend to non-contentious work. The team handles the protection, management and commercial exploitation of all types of intellectual property. We have a distinct “Brand Guardianship” service that protects trade marks; designs and domain names. Experience of IP litigation, particularly trade marks, design rights as well as copyright is essential - contentious patent experience would be a distinct advantage. This is a great opportunity to build up a strong specialist IP team to complement the Group’s existing IP work. The ideal candidate must be eager to build a team and develop this practice area. A proven ability to market and convert clients is essential as is experience managing junior members of practice group. Contacts and/or a client following is essential for this role.
EMPLOYMENT PARALEGAL - REF: OP/EA3333A well respected Thames Valley client are looking for an Employment Paralegal to work in their busy team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Employment Law and will have sat the Employment Law Elective in their LPC. The candidate must also have a minimum of a 2:1 degree and will have passed their LPC. This is a permanent position. Interviews will be taking place next week.
