They wish to recruit a solicitor with at least 7 years call to lead the Property team and grow a client base in the London area. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a regionally pre-eminent team with an excellent client base across many sectors. The candidate will have the support of a strong team of 18 fee earner to manage client relationships and service client work to an excellent standard with specialist support in planning, construction, environmental, property litigation, plot sales, tax and charity law. Accountabilities This role will be responsible for targeting seeking and targeting new potential opportunities and developing existing client relationships (alongside current contacts). The role would be partly a fee-earning role with a high proportion of business development. Person specification Essential Ability to make introductions to existing team members and raise profile of Tthe firm in the London market. Team player. Some following in investment work would be ideal and a good relationship with London agents imperative. A good network of existing contacts in the property sector particularly among London agents. A track record of winning new work and developing client relationships. A team player who will need to integrate and work well with the existing regional team. Ability to travel. Experience which compliments the firms key sector i.e. Property investment/development work, not of profit / education, technology, food and agriculture.
