Mid-sized West Midlands practice is looking to recruit a Commercial Contacts / IP Lawyer. The role would suit a mid-level Lawyer or Senior Associate on the track to partnership. The ideal candidate would have a broad spectrum of skills. The role will encompass general commercial contracts, agency agreements, distribution agreements as well as an exposure to IP non-contentious work. The role will involve representing and advising a large number of science and biotech clients as well as some professional institutions and general commercial business. Work includes: - IP, - Competition, - Data Protection, - E Commerce and - Due diligence on IP (trademark patents). The right individual will have a suitable interest in this area of law and have a strong desire to work in a close knit team. This position offer an advanced career progression to partnership for the right candidate.
