This is an absolutely excellent opportunity for a banking and finance solicitor looking to join this motivated and expanding team. Candidates should have good inter-personal skills, strong academics and high quality experience - typically with a major London or leading national/regional practice. Team playing skills are important - the successful candidate can expect to work with a number of partners within the Group, in small and occasionally larger teams, as well as running cases with minimal supervision. The team is looking to continue to grow and increase market share and so the candidate will also be expected to play a part in marketing to develop the practice, as well as contributing to know-how, learning and development which are fundamental to the firms success. Candidates who have done some corporate and/or insolvency work as well as pure banking work will also be considered.

BANKING CAPITAL MARKETS SOLICITOR LONDON - REF: OL/SP5049
A leading city firm is looking to recruit a mid range banking solicitor to handle a mix general banking work. You will have experience from a leading City or strong regional practice and will have experience of bank and corporate lending, derivatives, leveraged finance, project and PFI and real estate finance. The team acts for a broad array of clients which includes lenders and borrowers such as major clearing banks, finance houses, major PLCs and government bodies. Candidates will be expected to handle a heavy caseload without supervision and because of this it is anticipated you will have a minimum of three years pqe. This role represents an optimistic ray of light in what has been a difficult time for the banking sector.
